Someone needs to tell those folks selling ammo at these shows that they can stop doubling their prices. Ammo is returning to store shelves and I've noticed prices are coming down a little. Wally world has Federal 45 acp fmj for $15.47/50, and Winchester white box 100 ct for $31.97. Folks at the shows still trying to get $35/50 of 45 fmj, they're dreaming.
I believe there is a show in Kalkaska and Cadillac on the same weekend, Mar 27/28, can't pick one, so I guess I'm going to both LOL!

We have alot of em here in Mesick, but it seems like they are more vocal in the summer and fall, hardly ever hear em in the winter months. Have my single shot .223 up for sale now, been using my Mini 14 Ranch more often, just need to find a good load for it, it's not nearly as accurate as my NEF, but I like having the quicker follow up shots, as the yotes around here don't stand still very long LOL.

You don't have to here them to kill them just make um think ur eating there meal or in there territory or its just dying no they don't vocal much in winter.

Sold my .223 at the Cadillac show today, got my ranch rifle sighted in this afternoon with some Federal 50gr Flat Base HP, not the tack driver the NEF was, but it's not too bad. Went outside a few minutes ago to bring the dog in, wouldn't ya know it, heard some yotes behind the house about 300 yds away. Around here, when we have a hard winter like 2009, the deer go a few miles south to yard up and the yotes usually follow them and you don't see much of either of them thru the winter months. But this year wasn't too bad and they hung around all winter, only found one winter kill so far on the property, last year I found 5, which really sucks as the deer hunting here is already awful.

i picked up my first friday. a h&r 22 revolver, 9 shot . went and shot it today, i can already tell i opened a can of worms , now i want more, darn it .... how much do you guys like to trade? i do chainsaw carvings and can make someone a nice heavy duty outdoor bench, 10 feet long , 8 feet worth of seat, with an animal on both sides. i have done shows at the county fair and can send pics of my work.
